Reaching out is usually prompted by something changing.

A retirement date may be approaching. A recent decision may have raised new questions. Sometimes there is a growing sense that pieces are not as coordinated as they should be.

This first conversation is a short and focused starting point. Its purpose is to understand what is happening in your life right now and what led you to reach out. From there, we determine whether it makes sense to move into a more in-depth conversation.

The goal is not to solve everything at once. It is to bring initial clarity to your situation and what may deserve attention next.

What We’ll Discuss

We begin with what led you here.

What is changing in your life right now? What decisions feel less clear than they used to? What feels most important to sort through at this stage?

These questions help surface how different areas of your financial life may be starting to connect. A change in one area often influences decisions in another.

The objective is to clearly understand your current situation. If it makes sense to move forward, the next step is a longer meeting focused on your circumstances and the decisions in front of you.

What to Expect

This time is centered on you.

We will ask thoughtful questions and give you space to explain what has led you to this point. You do not need to prepare detailed documents. A high-level understanding of your situation is enough for this conversation.

If we continue, we will outline the next steps clearly and explain what would be helpful for the following meeting. If it becomes clear that we are not the right fit, we will say so directly and help you consider other appropriate options.

A Thoughtful Starting Point

Retirement decisions tend to carry more weight as they approach.

The first conversation should reflect that. It is measured, respectful of your time, and focused on helping you understand what comes next.
