As Dovetail’s chief operating officer, Liz Troutman leads the Operations and Client Service teams. She helps make sure client requests are understood, assigned, and completed.
When a question requires an advisor, Liz connects the client with the right person on the Dovetail team.
What Experience Does Liz Bring?
Liz graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and began her career there. She later moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked in Human Resources at a large international law firm for more than a decade.
She returned to Wilmington to be closer to family and lifelong friends. Her experience working with people and organizational systems now shapes her role at Dovetail.
Liz understands that clients need accurate financial guidance and dependable follow-through. Her work helps the advisory and client-service teams provide both.
What Does Liz Enjoy Outside of Work?
Liz enjoys paddleboarding, snowboarding, and outrigger canoe racing.
Music is another important part of her life. She enjoys searching record stores for additions to her vinyl collection.
She also values time with family and friends. A walk on the beach or a podcast with coffee is often part of a good day.
