Bryant Lester

Bryant Lester is a CFP® professional at Dovetail Financial. As part of the planning team, he helps clients review retirement questions and the financial details connected to them.

Bryant’s interest in financial planning began with his family. His grandfather was an entrepreneur and investor, and his father helped people plan for retirement. Their examples introduced him to long-term investing, careful use of debt, and the effect financial decisions can have over time.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and began his career at Advisor2X, a company focused on educating financial advisors. Bryant later earned his MBA from UNC Wilmington.

Bryant holds the CFP® certification and the Certified 401(k) Professional (C(k)P) designation. His education and professional experience support his work with retirement planning, investment questions, and the decisions clients encounter as their circumstances change.

Bryant and his wife, Lindsay, live in Wilmington with their son, Miller, and a Saint Bernard. They are active members of Coastal Community Church and enjoy spending time outdoors, especially near the water.

Sports have long been part of Bryant’s life. He played travel soccer and later played for the UNCW Club Soccer team. Today, he and Lindsay are active members of the Cape Fear Pickleball Club and enjoy introducing others to the game.
