That context also helps Jeff recognize when something has changed and whether the financial plan may need another review.

How Did Jeff Begin His Career?

Jeff earned a BBA in finance from the University of Georgia in 1991. He began his career at an accounting and tax firm that served dental and orthodontic practices.

In 1998, Jeff joined Merrill Lynch. There, he began helping individuals and families with investing and financial planning.

What Matters to Jeff Outside of Work?

Jeff is a lifelong resident of the metro Atlanta area and lives in Suwanee, Georgia. He follows Atlanta’s professional sports teams and is a longtime Georgia Bulldogs fan.

He also enjoys reading and music. Jeff and his wife, Vivian, often attend performances by their favorite rock bands from the 1970s and 1980s.

Camp Mikell, part of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, has remained important throughout Jeff’s life. He attended the camp while growing up and later returned as a volunteer counselor. His family continues to attend and support the camp.

Jeff is the proud parent of two daughters. One graduated from the University of Georgia, and the other graduated from Georgia Southern University.
